A Stormy Night

Its peaceful here thought Nicoli. He had just finished his shift at the hospital and decided to see the lake for himself. A townsperson told him if he ever needed to relax and gather his thoughts he should go to the lake. To the angelic vampire its seemed to have an eerie magic about it. The day had been humid and the hospital felt like the pits of hell so the swift breeze that indicated a storm coming was welcomed with open arms. Nicoli focused on his wings. he hadn't revealed them since he had arrived. It was nice to stretch them. Most times he didnt tell anyone he was oncean angel of the highest order in heaven. He hated that people expected him to heal them or bless them. Nicoli had given that up when he fell. Most of the fallen he knew had been redeemed, but Nicoli refused to ask for it because he should have been cast of in the first place. He had nothing to do with Lucifer's army. Nicoli shook his head to get rid of the thoughts of his past. He sat down in the grass and let his senses pour out into his surroundings. Maybe he would find some small animal to quinch the thrist of his vampire side. Storms here thought Nicoli with a smile and surely enough it began to pour.
allerbmu
mumbled Nicoli and the rain began to run down around him as the drops hit and invisible barrier.

Ultima giggled happily as she danced in the pouring rain. Her wings stretched as far as they could to absorb the falling water. She loved dancing. . she loved the rain. So dancing in the rain was like heaven on earth for her. Her dark wings soon became slick and shiny against the moonlight and she smiled a wicked smile. She had left her coat at her room at the inn coming to the fact that she wasn't sugar and she wouldn't melt in the rain. Her black leather outfit sounded like a raincoat as the raindrops fell onto her. What a wonderful night! she thought; but her thoughts where soon shattered when she picked up the aura of another being. Her wings instinctively wrapped around her body making a protective shield around her front. She crouched low to the ground and pulled a small blade from her boot. She mentally explored the land and picked up the aura of a male across the lake. Ultima's eyes widened and she gasped. A Fallen?! She couldn't believe it! Another Fallen, here of all places! She tilted her head from side to side and cracked her neck. Is he just Fallen or is he really like me and a Dark One?? She slowly stood and scanned the other side of the lake to find him. And there he was, in plain view of the world. She laughed to herself when she saw his little dome of magic around him protecting him from the rain. With her wings still wrapped securely around her body, Ultima stood and walked out of the little clearing of bushes she was dancing in and faced him from across the lake. The moon was barley visible from the ominous clouds that hung overhead, but there was enough to reflect Ultima's dark hair and dark eyes. She stood quietly not saying a word nor making a sound. Her mind was still reeling about the fact that she had come across a Fallen. And she was still wondering about weather or not if he was as bad as she. A part of the Dark Angels.
